Reach - The Social Impact Design Studio
Masters design lab presents Reach, a one-of-a-kind design studio focusing on nonprofits.
Reach is a virtual design studio powered by Masters Design Lab's faculty and staff.
The studio's objective is to help nonprofits with the design work they need while our students gain more real-world experience and add another project to their portfolio (and even get paid!).

Our Vision
From inspirational posters to exceptional social movements, design has been there to portray messages. The impact of a strong design image such as Obama's hope poster can not be underestimated. Masters Design Lab is proud to help students pursue their design dreams while also remembering design can and is a tool for social change.
Design by J. Howard Miller 1943
How Does It Work
Students that have completed the certificate or diploma successfully (4.5 months or 12 months program only) will get a design assignment for a nonprofit.
Our studio manager will help facilitate the design process and, of course, continue to mentor and teach the students. After the project is successfully completed, the student will receive the payment via PayPal from Masters Design Lab.
For Nonprofits
We all know that robust and accurate design is essential to organizations and nonprofits. As budgets are always an issue, we can help with any design-oriented task. Our students undergo a demanding program and are trained by elite designers with years of experience. With the support of staff and faculty, we will deliver exceptional design pro bono.

Client testimonials
Masters Design Lab student Lisa prepared Street Health's 2022 Client Survey infographic.
They were flexible and able to accommodate our project even when we had delays in providing the final information. The student offered a creative and fresh approach to our subject matter (healthcare services for those who are homeless in Toronto). Lisa was very engaged, eager to receive feedback and work toward a product we could share with our supporters and donors.
I would highly recommend working with Masters Design Lab for creative graphic art projects.
